The regional development cluster, together with Microregion 11 PLUS and the municipality of C\u00edfer, were involved in the project: “Strengthening Civic Participation in the Functioning of Inter-Municipal and Inter-Sectoral actors in Europe”, which was financed by the European Union in the Europe for Citizens Program. I present a short report of the activities implemented within the project. Since it is an international project, all outputs are in English. Applicable to the Strand 2 \u2013 Measure 2.2\n “Networks of Towns”<\/i><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n <\/td>\n <\/tr>\n

Preparatory activities<\/span><\/u><\/b>: the activities involved 15\n participants.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Location<\/span><\/b><\/span> \/\n Dates<\/span>: <\/span><\/b>Trnava<\/span> (Slovakia<\/span><\/b>),\n 24\/11\/2020, but it was held ONLINE<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Short description<\/span><\/b>: The applicant did not plan\n the preparatory activity of the project but implemented it. Project\n activities and their possible guarantors were discussed. The applicant did\n not claim any additional costs. The event was attended by representatives of\n 10 partners from 7 countries. The Italian project partner did not attend the\n meeting, its representatives withdrew from the project. After the meeting,\n the Irish partner stated that it would no longer participate in the project\n due to its insufficient institutional capacity. The introductory meeting\n appeared to be a very logical part of the project necessary for its\n successful implementation.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The InCoop Introductory\n Meeting had a relatively fundamental impact on all communication (visibility)\n activities of the project. Its material results were: <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

1)         the project logo with the logo design manual implemented\n by the Croatian partner (city of Ludbreg) made and delivered in January 2021\n by the Croatian project partner \u2013 the Town of Ludbreg, <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

2)         the project website www.incoopproject.eu, which served as\n the main communication\/dissemination tool of the project, as well as a\n working tool, as there was a Sharepoint for partners (a common disk for\n storing common documents). The website thus made the work of the PPs and the\n successful applicant easier. By the end of the project (09\/22), 2163 users\n visited its website. <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

3)         An Incoop brochure was created in June 2021, see:\n https:\/\/www.incoopproject.eu\/post\/incoop-brochure-done. The brochure was\n distributed among all PPs to inform their partners and all project\n participants participating in the project in Slovakia about the project.\n 10,000 copies were made and distributed.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

4)         Information about the project and its activities on the\n website of the project partners and their profiles on social networks could\n reach approximately 4,000 people in 6 program countries.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This communication tools\n could affect 16163 Europeans (indirect project participants) from 11\n programme countries.  <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Short description:<\/b>  <\/span><\/span>Specific\n project partners presented their status quo regarding civic participation in\n their activities. Attention was devoted to the legislation of regional\n entities in individual countries, their impact on society in the context of\n local economic development and strengthening of local identity, active\n citizenship, and solidarity in their territory. All project partners\n expressed their expectations for the project.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Short description:<\/b>  The aim of the event was m<\/span>aking a documentary\n film about how ordinary people, organizations and entities support citizen\n participation in society. The Spanish partner – La Cosecha Comunicaci\u00f3n –\n took care of the script of the film, its editing and realization. The film\n was shot in Slovakia, Portugal, and Croatia, so 4 project partners\n participated in it: Regional Development Cluster (SK), Intermunicipal\n Community\/Association of the Coimbra Region (CIM, ES), the municipality of\n Ludbreg (HR) and La Cosecha Comuicaci\u00f3n (ES). <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Short description:<\/b>  The aim of the event was t<\/span><\/span>he\n premiere of the documentary “The Power of Citizens’ Voice”,\n followed by a public debate, took place on June 28, 2022 in Valencia (ES) and\n was organized as part of the International Day of Citizen Participation by La\n Cosecha Communicaci\u00f3n.

\n Short description:<\/b>\n <\/span><\/span>The InCoop fair was held at the Agrokomplex Nitra 2022 exhibition\n center, Slovakia and was organized by Regional Development Cluster. The event\n was attended by more than 200 participants from Slovakia, Poland, Croatia,\n Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Spain, and Portugal (8). An important part of the\n event was the creation of an action plan on how to involve citizens more in\n the decision-making activities of regional associations.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Participation<\/span><\/b><\/span>:<\/span><\/b> The event involved 1029 citizens,\n including 135<\/span> participants from Croatia<\/b>, <\/span><\/span>112<\/span> participants from Spain<\/b>, 1<\/span> participant from<\/span> Bulgaria<\/b>, 120<\/span> participants\n from<\/span> Poland<\/b>, 240<\/span> participants from<\/span> Portugal,<\/b> 218<\/span> participants\n from Slovakia <\/b>and 203 participants from non-project\n countries as Austria<\/b> (100), Czechia <\/b>(101), Italy <\/b>(1) and the United\n Kingdom<\/b> (1).  <\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Location<\/span><\/b><\/span> \/ Dates<\/span>:<\/span><\/b> The event was held ONLINE and\n was coordinated by CEPESE of the city of Porto (Portugal) from 01\/01\/<\/span>2022 to 30\/04\/<\/span>2022.
\n Short description:<\/b>\n The aim of the event was r<\/span><\/span>esearch on the state of play\n of inter-municipal and inter-sectoral associations in Europe in the context\n of civic participation. The research was carried out by CEPESE (PT) on 1029\n participants, of which 1011 results were marked as valid for analysis. <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Participation<\/span><\/b><\/span>:<\/span><\/b> The event involved 70 citizens,\n including <\/span><\/span>2<\/span> participants from\n the city of Valencia and its local NGO La Cosecha<\/span> (Spain<\/b>), 64<\/span> participants\n from<\/span> the cities of<\/span> Porto and Coimbra (Portugal<\/b>)\n and 2<\/span> participants from<\/span> the town\n of<\/span> Trnava (Slovakia<\/b>).\n <\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Location<\/span><\/b><\/span> \/ Dates<\/span>:<\/span><\/b> The event took place in<\/span> Porto<\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/span>(Portugal<\/b>), from 16\/05\/<\/span>2022 to 16\/05\/<\/span>2022.
\n Short description:<\/b>\n The aim of the event was <\/span><\/span>in the presentation of\n research results organized by CEPESE at the University of Porto (PT). More\n than 70 participants from Portugal, Slovakia, and Spain took part in the\n event. They were students, representatives of local authorities and the\n public, who in a later discussion shared their experiences with involving the\n public in the activities of self-governments and with public intervention in\n the life of self-governments.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Participation<\/span><\/b><\/span>:<\/span><\/b> The event involved 59 citizens,\n including 15<\/span> participants from<\/span> the municipalities of<\/span> Erdut and Ludbreg (Croatia<\/b>), 4<\/span> participants from\n the city of Valencia and its local NGO La Cosecha<\/span> (Spain<\/b>), 3<\/span> participants\n from<\/span> the city of Plovdiv and its NGO FAGDO (Bulgaria<\/b>), 4<\/span> participants\n from<\/span> the city of Rzeszow and its\n regional body – Rzeszow Regional Development Agency (Poland<\/b>), 15<\/span> participants from<\/span> the cities of<\/span> Porto and Coimbra (Portugal<\/b>) and 16<\/span> participants from<\/span> the municipalities of<\/span> Trnava and C\u00edfer (Slovakia<\/b>).\n <\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
