Z malej gar\u00e1\u017ee za bratislavsk\u00fdm n\u00e1kupn\u00fdm centrom vytvorila Typogar\u00e1\u017e \u2013 \u017eiv\u00fd priestor, kde sa typografia stret\u00e1vala s rozhovormi, workshopmi a medzin\u00e1rodn\u00fdmi hos\u0165ami. Dnes spolu s Barbarou Kowalczukovou vedie TaB Studio, venuje sa kni\u017en\u00e9mu dizajnu, editori\u00e1lom a vizu\u00e1lnym identit\u00e1m, v ktor\u00fdch typografia funguje ako tich\u00fd, ale ve\u013emi presn\u00fd rozpr\u00e1va\u010d. V tomto profile sa dozvieme, ako sa Ter\u00e9zia od prv\u00fdch \u0161tudentsk\u00fdch projektov dostala k Typogar\u00e1\u017ei, ktor\u00e1 na roky rozh\u00fdbala slovensk\u00fa typografick\u00fa komunitu, aj k profesion\u00e1lnej spolupr\u00e1ci v TaB Studiu. Pozrieme sa na jej pr\u00edstup ku kni\u017en\u00e9mu a editori\u00e1lov\u00e9mu dizajnu, na projekty ako Soba\u0161n\u00e9 siene, Iba Fi\u0161er! \u010di vizu\u00e1ly pre M\u00fazeum mesta Bratislavy, a tie\u017e na to, pre\u010do je pre \u0148u typografia nielen n\u00e1stroj, ale sp\u00f4sob rozm\u00fd\u0161\u013eania o pr\u00edbehoch, priestore a \u013eu\u010foch, ktor\u00ed stoja za nimi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ke\u010f dnes Ter\u00e9zia Denkov\u00e1 rozpr\u00e1va o grafickom dizajne, jej hlas m\u00e1 zvl\u00e1\u0161tnu kombin\u00e1ciu pokoja a nad\u0161enia \u010dloveka, ktor\u00fd presne vie, pre\u010do rob\u00ed to, \u010do rob\u00ed. No jej cesta k typografii a kni\u017en\u00e9mu dizajnu rozhodne nebola jednozna\u010dne priamo\u010diara. V detstve s\u00edce ve\u013ea kreslila, chodila na ZU\u0160-ku a obklopovali ju kamar\u00e1ti z umeleckej \u0161koly v Tren\u010d\u00edne, ale e\u0161te to neznamenalo, \u017ee v\u0161etko bolo jasn\u00e9. S \u00fasmevom spom\u00edna, ako ned\u00e1vno doma na\u0161la star\u00e9 detsk\u00e9 knihy (napr\u00edklad&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.litcentrum.sk\/dielo\/o-gulkovi-bombulkovi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">O Gu\u013ekovi Bombu\u013ekovi<\/a>) pre svojho syna a v\u0161etky boli dokreslen\u00e9.&nbsp;<em>\u201eGuli\u010dky, \u010darbani\u010dky\u2026 pozer\u00e1m, \u017ee aha, u\u017e vtedy som do t\u00fdch kni\u017eiek nejako zasahovala,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;hovor\u00ed a \u010dlovek m\u00e1 zrazu pocit, \u017ee pr\u00edbeh grafickej dizajn\u00e9rky vlastne za\u010dal u\u017e niekde medzi detsk\u00fdmi \u010dm\u00e1ranicami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"628\" height=\"423\" data-id=\"8822\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cerstveovocie.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Terezia-Denkova-foto-@danieladenkova_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8822\" srcset=\"https:\/\/d.r1.wbsprt.com\/cerstveovocie.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Terezia-Denkova-foto-@danieladenkova_1.jpg 628w, https:\/\/d.r1.wbsprt.com\/cerstveovocie.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Terezia-Denkova-foto-@danieladenkova_1-300x202.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 628px) 100vw, 628px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Ter\u00e9zia Denkov\u00e1 (foto @danieladenkova)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Aj ke\u010f Ter\u00e9zia t\u00fa\u017eila \u00eds\u0165 na umeleck\u00fa stredn\u00fa, rodi\u010dia trvali na gymn\u00e1ziu. Sama to berie s odstupom a humorom.&nbsp;<em>\u201eJazyky ma bavili, ale matematiku a fyziku som si pretrpela,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;hovor\u00ed. Ani po gympli e\u0161te nepri\u0161lo priame nasmerovanie do vizu\u00e1lneho sveta. Ke\u010f\u017ee jej i\u0161li jazyky, skon\u010dila \u0161tudova\u0165 franc\u00fazsku filol\u00f3giu na&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.muni.cz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Masarykovej univerzite<\/a>&nbsp;v Brne. Po p\u00e1r mesiacoch v\u0161ak pri\u0161lo ve\u013ek\u00e9 uvedomenie:&nbsp;<em>\u201eZistila som, \u017ee nie. Toto ma nebav\u00ed, nechcem to robi\u0165.\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;Po pauze si u\u017e v\u00fd\u0161ku vyberala sama a po prv\u00fdkr\u00e1t si dovolila od\u00eds\u0165 do kreat\u00edvneho prostredia. Prv\u00fdm z\u00e1sadn\u00fdm krokom bolo bakal\u00e1rske \u0161t\u00fadium na&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.paneurouni.com\/fakulta-masmedii\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fakulte masm\u00e9di\u00ed Paneur\u00f3pskej Vysokej \u0160koly<\/a>&nbsp;v&nbsp;\u0161tudijnom programe Dizajn m\u00e9di\u00ed. Pod veden\u00edm pedag\u00f3gov ako&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/branonarb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bra\u0148o Matis<\/a>&nbsp;\u010di&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/tomas_klepoch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tom\u00e1\u0161 Klepoch<\/a>&nbsp;sa jej smer postupne vyjas\u0148oval.&nbsp;<em>\u201eVyprofilovalo ma to, \u017ee aha, grafick\u00fd dizajn ma bude bavi\u0165,\u201c<\/em>hovor\u00ed o obdob\u00ed, ktor\u00e9 ju posunulo k jasnej\u0161iemu z\u00e1meru. Po bakal\u00e1rke rok pracovala, no \u010doraz viac c\u00edtila, \u017ee sa chce v odbore posun\u00fa\u0165 \u010falej. Prihl\u00e1\u0161ka do Viedne bola vtedy logick\u00fdm krokom ambici\u00f3znej dizajn\u00e9rky. Dostala sa na prest\u00ed\u017enu Universit\u00e4t f\u00fcr angewandte Kunst (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dieangewandte.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Angewandte<\/a>), kde nast\u00fapila na magistersk\u00fd program. Znie to ide\u00e1lne, no realita bola in\u00e1. Ateli\u00e9r bol postaven\u00fd okolo jedn\u00e9ho pedag\u00f3ga, ktor\u00fd ur\u010doval smer aj estetiku.&nbsp;<em>\u201eJe to ve\u013emi hierarchick\u00e9. Profilovali n\u00e1s na digit\u00e1lne m\u00e9di\u00e1, a m\u0148a to v\u00f4bec nebavilo,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;opisuje. Prest\u00fapila na&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/vsvu_afad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">V\u0160VU<\/a>&nbsp;na katedru&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/kvk_vsvu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vizu\u00e1lnej komunik\u00e1cie<\/a>&nbsp;do ateli\u00e9ru&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/typolab.sk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Typolab<\/a>&nbsp;pod veden\u00edm&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/scd.sk\/osobnost\/pavol-balik\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pala B\u00e1lika<\/a>&nbsp;a a hne\u010f prv\u00e9 t\u00fd\u017edne priniesli pocit \u00faplnej \u00fa\u013eavy a slobody, ktor\u00fd dovtedy v \u0161t\u00fadiu neza\u017eila.&nbsp;<em>\u201eV Typolabe bolo v\u0161etko slobodn\u00e9. \u0160tudent priniesol svoje t\u00e9my, robil projekty, ktor\u00e9 ho bavili\u2026 po tej dogmatickej Viedni to bolo \u00faplne, \u017ee wau!,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;hovor\u00ed. Typolab jej dal priestor rozv\u00edja\u0165 presne to, \u010do jej ch\u00fdbalo \u2013 vlastn\u00fd hlas, vlastn\u00e9 n\u00e1pady a pr\u00edstup, ktor\u00fd nestaval bari\u00e9ry, ale podporoval experiment. A pr\u00e1ve tam si priniesla aj my\u0161lienku, ktor\u00e1 nesk\u00f4r v\u00fdrazne ovplyvnila mlad\u00fa slovensk\u00fa dizajn\u00e9rsku sc\u00e9nu:&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/typogaraz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Typogar\u00e1\u017e<\/a><\/strong>.&nbsp;<em>\u201eU\u017e v prvom semestri som pri\u0161la s t\u00fdm, \u017ee chcem rozv\u00edja\u0165 koncepciu Typogar\u00e1\u017ee a vizu\u00e1lnu identitu,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;spom\u00edna. Viede\u0148 jej dala jemn\u00fa frustr\u00e1ciu, Bratislava jej dala slobodu \u2013 a pr\u00e1ve z tohto nap\u00e4tia vznikol priestor, ktor\u00fd sa stal komunitn\u00fdm srdcom typografie a grafick\u00e9ho dizajnu na nieko\u013eko rokov. Dnes je Ter\u00e9zia Denkov\u00e1 grafick\u00e1 dizajn\u00e9rka, typografka, milovn\u00ed\u010dka dobre nastavenej sadzby, \u010dlovek, ktor\u00fd vid\u00ed kr\u00e1su v jemnosti aj v odv\u00e1\u017enych typografick\u00fdch gest\u00e1ch. Je dizajn\u00e9rkou, ktor\u00e1 dok\u00e1\u017ee spoji\u0165 citlivos\u0165 s remeslom a komunitu so sk\u00fasenos\u0165ou. V pocite, \u017ee na slovenskej sc\u00e9ne nie\u010do ch\u00fdba. Ke\u010f Ter\u00e9zia rozpr\u00e1va o Viedni, \u010dasto spom\u00edna mal\u00fd priestor ukryt\u00fd v&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mqw.at\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MuseumsQuartieri<\/a>, ktor\u00e9mu Rak\u00fa\u0161ania hovoria&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mqw.at\/en\/mq-journal\/2020\/typopassage-micro-museum-of-typography\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">typopas\u00e1\u017e<\/a>. Tri plag\u00e1ty, mal\u00e1 v\u00fdstava, drobn\u00fd podchod, ktor\u00fd si be\u017en\u00fd \u010dlovek mo\u017eno ani nev\u0161imne. Ju v\u0161ak zaujal. Bol sympatick\u00fd, pokojn\u00fd, stru\u010dn\u00fd, ale z\u00e1rove\u0148 surov\u00fd svojou oby\u010dajnos\u0165ou. A pr\u00e1ve to ju in\u0161pirovalo.&nbsp;<em>\u201eBolo tam vidno potenci\u00e1l, ale z\u00e1rove\u0148 mi tam ch\u00fdbalo nie\u010do viac \u2013 viac pre mlad\u00fdch, menej dogmatick\u00e9, viac komunitn\u00e9,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;hovor\u00ed. V tejto jednoduchej vete sa zrodil z\u00e1klad&nbsp;<strong>Typogar\u00e1\u017ee<\/strong>. T\u00e1to my\u0161lienka sa po\u010das rokov vo Viedni pomaly zbierala, ale potrebovala prostredie, v ktorom m\u00f4\u017ee r\u00e1s\u0165. A to pri\u0161lo a\u017e po prestupe na V\u0160VU. V prvom semestri v Typolabe pri\u0161la na konzult\u00e1cie s konceptom, ktor\u00fd bol na slovensk\u00e9 pomery pomerne odv\u00e1\u017eny: vytvori\u0165 priestor venovan\u00fd typografii, dizajnu p\u00edsma a kni\u017en\u00e9mu dizajnu tak, aby nebol ani gal\u00e9riou, ani \u0161kolsk\u00fdm projektom, ani festivalom, ale nie\u010d\u00edm medzi. Nie\u010d\u00edm, \u010do by bolo mal\u00e9, \u017eiv\u00e9, pr\u00edstupn\u00e9 a predov\u0161etk\u00fdm komunitn\u00e9.&nbsp;<em>\u201eV Typolabe mi dali \u00fapln\u00fa slobodu. Keby som pri\u0161la s t\u00fdmto do Viedne, tak mi to nedovolia. Tam s\u00fa zadania, tam m\u00e1\u0161 list v\u00fdstupov, ktor\u00e9 mus\u00ed\u0161 spravi\u0165. Tu som mohla naozaj za\u010da\u0165 robi\u0165 svoje,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;spom\u00edna. A tak sa za\u010dalo nie\u010do, \u010do p\u00f4vodne malo by\u0165 len semestr\u00e1lnou pr\u00e1cou. Ter\u00e9zia najprv navrhla vizu\u00e1lnu identitu, premyslela koncept, nap\u00edsala \u017eiados\u0165 o&nbsp;grant (jej v\u00f4bec prv\u00fd v&nbsp;\u017eivote) a ke\u010f ho z\u00edskala, \u010fal\u0161\u00ed krok bol jasn\u00fd: projekt sa musel uskuto\u010dni\u0165.&nbsp;<em>\u201eKe\u010f dostane\u0161 grant, u\u017e mus\u00ed\u0161 robi\u0165. Ten na\u0161la tam, kde by to \u010dakal len m\u00e1lokto \u2014 v rade gar\u00e1\u017e\u00ed za bratislavsk\u00fdm OC Central. Pri malom detskom ihrisku, medzi bytovkami, v \u00faplne oby\u010dajnej rade plechov\u00fdch dvier.&nbsp;<em>\u201eBola to gar\u00e1\u017e, norm\u00e1lne prenajat\u00e1 gar\u00e1\u017e,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;vysvet\u013euje. A pr\u00e1ve oby\u010dajnos\u0165 tohto priestoru bola jeho najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161ou silou. \u017diadna steriln\u00e1 gal\u00e9ria, \u017eiadny priestor s&nbsp;bielymi stenami. Len gar\u00e1\u017e, ktor\u00e1 si p\u00fdtala, aby ju niekto o\u017eivil. Tento DIY charakter bol k\u013e\u00fa\u010dov\u00fd \u2013 nielen pre vizu\u00e1lne gesto, ale aj pre filozofiu projektu. Odvtedy sa Typogar\u00e1\u017e rozbehla tak, \u017ee \u010fal\u0161\u00edch \u0161es\u0165 rokov fungovala ako jedna z naj\u017eiv\u0161\u00edch platforiem pre typografiu a dizajn na Slovensku. Ka\u017ed\u00fd rok mala svoj rytmus \u2013 jar, jese\u0148, grantov\u00e9 cykly, postupn\u00e9 vylep\u0161ovanie priestoru, prid\u00e1vanie novej dramaturgie. A aj ke\u010f to navonok p\u00f4sobilo spont\u00e1nne, v skuto\u010dnosti za t\u00fdm bola obrovsk\u00e1 d\u00e1vka pr\u00e1ce: organiz\u00e1cia, komunik\u00e1cia, dramaturgia, produkcia, technick\u00e9 rie\u0161enia, fundraising, \u00fa\u010dtovn\u00edctvo a k tomu e\u0161te aj dizajn v\u00fdstupov.&nbsp;<em>\u201eTypogar\u00e1\u017e bola moje decko,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;hovor\u00ed. A nie je to v\u00f4bec prehnan\u00e9. S \u010dasom sa vytvoril jasn\u00fd form\u00e1t: pozvan\u00fd hos\u0165, predn\u00e1\u0161ka, mal\u00e1 v\u00fdstava, otvoren\u00fd ve\u010der, p\u00e1r dn\u00ed spr\u00edstupnenia. Pri\u0161li belgick\u00ed&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/atelierbrenda.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Atelier Brenda<\/a>, \u010desk\u00ed&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/heavyweight-type.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Heavyweight typefoundry<\/a>, est\u00f3nski tvorcovia p\u00edsma&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/a_t_a_k_k\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aimur Takk<\/a>&nbsp;a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/andreepaat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Andr\u00e9 Paat<\/a>, aj mnoh\u00ed \u010fal\u0161\u00ed. A ne\u0161lo len o prezent\u00e1cie. Belgi\u010danky napr\u00edklad namiesto prezent\u00e1cie pustili \u013eu\u010fom priamo \u201evn\u00fatornosti svojich po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u201c \u2013 neorganizovan\u00e9 prie\u010dinky, pracovn\u00e9 s\u00fabory, exporty, procesy. Ka\u017ed\u00e9 podujatie sa kon\u010dilo t\u00fdm, \u017ee dvadsa\u0165 \u013eud\u00ed e\u0161te sedelo na pive a rozpr\u00e1valo sa o tom, \u010do videli, \u010do rie\u0161ia, na \u010dom pracuj\u00fa. Vznikala energia, ktor\u00e1 sa ned\u00e1 len tak jednoducho op\u00edsa\u0165.&nbsp;<em>\u201eVznikla energia, ktor\u00e1 \u0165a nakopne. To bolo gr\u00f3 cel\u00e9ho,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;hovor\u00ed. Typogar\u00e1\u017e tak nebola len priestorom, ale sk\u00f4r sp\u00f4sobom stret\u00e1vania sa, miestom, kde sa slovensk\u00e1 grafick\u00e1 sc\u00e9na kone\u010dne prepojila \u2013 medzi sebou aj so zahrani\u010d\u00edm. Za projekt nesk\u00f4r z\u00edskala Cenu Nad\u00e1cie Tatra banky, mno\u017estvo uznan\u00ed a re\u0161pekt celej sc\u00e9ny. No d\u00f4le\u017eitej\u0161ie je, \u010do si z Typogar\u00e1\u017ee odniesli \u013eudia: pocit, \u017ee aj mal\u00e1 gar\u00e1\u017e m\u00f4\u017ee by\u0165 centrom dizajnu. \u017de nemus\u00ed by\u0165 form\u00e1lna gal\u00e9ria, aby mala hodnotu. \u017de komunita je rovnako d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00e1 ako remeslo. Po \u0161iestich rokoch sa projekt prirodzene uzavrel. N\u00e1klady r\u00e1stli, priestor bolo \u010doraz \u0165a\u017e\u0161ie udr\u017ea\u0165 a Ter\u00e9zia c\u00edtila, \u017ee je \u010das na zmenu. Typogar\u00e1\u017e sa nezatvorila ako nie\u010do, \u010do skon\u010dilo, ale sk\u00f4r ako projekt, ktor\u00fd prirodzene naplnil svoju \u00falohu a uvo\u013enil miesto \u010fal\u0161\u00edm aktivit\u00e1m. A to \u010fal\u0161ie u\u017e vznik\u00e1: nov\u00e1 prehliadka a konferencia grafick\u00e9ho dizajnu, ktor\u00e1 m\u00e1 amb\u00edciu prepoji\u0165 komunitu e\u0161te vo v\u00e4\u010d\u0161om meradle. Typogar\u00e1\u017e bola za\u010diatkom nie\u010doho d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00e9ho. Z malej gar\u00e1\u017ee vyr\u00e1stlo nie\u010do, \u010do cel\u00fa sc\u00e9nu nau\u010dilo rozpr\u00e1va\u0165 sa, zdie\u013ea\u0165, u\u010di\u0165 sa navz\u00e1jom a by\u0165 spolu. Ke\u010f rozpr\u00e1va o grafickom dizajne, hne\u010f je jasn\u00e9, \u017ee pre \u0148u neexistuje ni\u010d ako \u201eodfl\u00e1knut\u00fd detail\u201c. Je to typografka telom aj du\u0161ou \u2013 nie teoretick\u00e1, nie akademick\u00e1, ale remeseln\u00e1, vn\u00edmaj\u00faca p\u00edsmo ako materi\u00e1l, ktor\u00fd je mo\u017en\u00e9 oh\u00fdba\u0165, vrstvi\u0165, spres\u0148ova\u0165. Samotn\u00e9 p\u00edsmen\u00e1 s\u00fa pre \u0148u n\u00e1stroje, ktor\u00fdmi vytv\u00e1ra atmosf\u00e9ru. Jej rukopis sa za\u010dal formova\u0165 a\u017e v Bratislave. Sama o tom hovor\u00ed ve\u013emi prirodzene:&nbsp;<em>\u201eUr\u010dite je to pr\u00e1ca s typografiou a to je pod\u013ea m\u0148a z\u00e1sluha Typolabu.\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;V\u0161imn\u00fa\u0165 sa to d\u00e1 hne\u010f. Jej vizu\u00e1ly nie s\u00fa postaven\u00e9 na trendoch a \u013e\u00fabivosti, ale na presnosti, mierke, rytme a mikrodizajne. Prizn\u00e1va, \u017ee si roky budovala cit&nbsp;<em>\u201ena tie jemn\u00e9 nuansy, ktor\u00e9 laik ani nevid\u00ed, ale ke\u010f vid\u00ed\u0161 fin\u00e1lnu knihu, tak je v nie\u010dom ve\u013emi m\u00e4kk\u00e1 a prepracovan\u00e1\u201c.<\/em>&nbsp;A presne toto je jej rukopis: jemnos\u0165, ktor\u00e1 je podlo\u017een\u00e1 absol\u00fatnou discipl\u00ednou. Ter\u00e9zia nie je \u201eposterov\u00e1\u201c grafi\u010dka. Jej svetom s\u00fa knihy, publik\u00e1cie a vizu\u00e1lne identity, ktor\u00e9 stoja na typografickej prec\u00edznosti.&nbsp;<em>\u201eV prvom rade kni\u017en\u00fd dizajn a k tomu vizu\u00e1lne identity,\u201c<\/em>hovor\u00ed bez v\u00e1hania. Obe kateg\u00f3rie sp\u00e1ja cit pre syst\u00e9m, pr\u00e1cu s typom a ve\u013emi jasn\u00fd pr\u00edstup: dizajn mus\u00ed reagova\u0165 na obsah. Nejde o dekor\u00e1ciu, ale o interpret\u00e1ciu. Kr\u00e1sne je to vidie\u0165 na jej pr\u00e1ci pre M\u00fazeum mesta Bratislavy \u2013 v\u00fdstavy&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/muzeumbratislava.sk\/udalost\/rodinne-skutocnosti-obraz-zivota-bratislavskych-rodin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rodinn\u00e9 skuto\u010dnosti<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;a&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/muzeumbratislava.sk\/udalost\/zivotopisy-ludi-veci-vystava\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u017divotopisy \u013eud\u00ed a vec\u00ed<\/a><\/strong>. Pri prvej sa spolu s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/barbara_kowalczukova\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Barbarou Kowalczukovou<\/a>&nbsp;ponorili do typografie predvojnov\u00e9ho Pre\u0161porka. \u0160tudovali n\u00e1pisy, obchodn\u00e9 tabule, \u0161t\u00fdly p\u00edsma, ktor\u00e9 boli v meste pr\u00edtomn\u00e9. Nepreberali ich doslovne, ale prekladali do s\u00fa\u010dasn\u00e9ho jazyka. Pri druhej v\u00fdstave sa zase in\u0161pirovali mimoeur\u00f3pskymi p\u00edsmami, ktor\u00e9 sa objavovali v zbierkach zberate\u013eov \u2013 \u0165ahmi \u010d\u00ednskeho p\u00edsma, vizu\u00e1lnym rytmom znakov.&nbsp;<em>\u201eChceli sme, aby ten vizu\u00e1l mal pocit tej mimoeur\u00f3pskosti,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;hovor\u00ed, a je to presne t\u00e1 veta, ktor\u00e1 vystihuje jej uva\u017eovanie. Spolu s Barbarou vytvorili koncepciu, ktor\u00e1 vych\u00e1dza z fenom\u00e9nu nevesty: ob\u00e1lka ako z\u00e1voj, priesvitn\u00e9 vrstvy papiera ako svadobn\u00e9 \u0161aty, p\u00edsmo in\u0161pirovan\u00e9 tvarom obr\u00fa\u010dok. Ka\u017ed\u00fd prvok m\u00e1 zmysel, ka\u017ed\u00fd m\u00e1 referenciu. Je to kr\u00e1sny pr\u00edklad toho, ako Ter\u00e9zia pracuje s metaforou, materi\u00e1lom aj narat\u00edvom, ale st\u00e1le cez typografick\u00fd filter. Jej vz\u0165ah k magaz\u00ednom sa preh\u013abil po\u010das pr\u00e1ce na diplomovke, kde rie\u0161ila t\u00e9mu \u201epredizajnov\u00e1vania\u201c a v\u00fdsledkom bol vlastn\u00fd magaz\u00edn. Zistila, \u017ee pr\u00e1ve editori\u00e1l je priestor, kde sa c\u00edti doma.&nbsp;<em>\u201eMagaz\u00edny ma brut\u00e1lne bavia,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;hovor\u00ed. A nie je to prekvapiv\u00e9. Pr\u00e1ve v magaz\u00edne sa stret\u00e1va v\u0161etko, \u010do m\u00e1 rada: typografia, rytmus, pr\u00e1ca s bielym miestom, kompoz\u00edcia a ve\u013ek\u00e9 mno\u017estvo mali\u010dk\u00fdch, remeseln\u00fdch rozhodnut\u00ed. Aj preto nesk\u00f4r navrhovala&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/brot.sk\/products\/backstage-talks-6?srsltid=AfmBOooM7Og4DAA0ZEFls6MrMB0c6ho9wsNuXa3KlvacmaxBZtxguTRG\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Backstage Talks #6<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;a teraz sa op\u00e4\u0165 vracia k \u010fal\u0161iemu vydaniu. Jej rukopis nestoj\u00ed len na jemnosti, ale aj na v\u00fdskume. Pri ka\u017edom projekte rob\u00ed re\u0161er\u0161: ako sa dan\u00e1 t\u00e9ma rie\u0161ila historicky, ako sa rie\u0161i dnes, ak\u00e9 s\u00fa referencie z in\u00fdch kraj\u00edn, ak\u00e9 s\u00fa typografick\u00e9 mo\u017enosti. A z\u00e1rove\u0148 vie presne, kde je hranica \u2013 \u010do si e\u0161te m\u00f4\u017ee dovoli\u0165 bez straty \u010ditate\u013enosti. Tento balans je pre \u0148u z\u00e1sadn\u00fd. Nie je to grafi\u010dka, ktor\u00e1 by chcela div\u00e1ka pre\u0165a\u017ei\u0165. Chce, aby pochopil podstatu. Dizajn m\u00e1 pom\u00f4c\u0165 rozumie\u0165. Ka\u017ed\u00fd projekt, na ktorom pracovala, je d\u00f4kazom, \u017ee jej rukopis nie je len estetika, ale sp\u00f4sob myslenia. Ako sama hovor\u00ed,&nbsp;<em>\u201edobr\u00fd grafick\u00fd dizajn mus\u00ed reagova\u0165 na t\u00e9mu\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;\u2013 a to je princ\u00edp, ktor\u00fd sa tiahne celou jej tvorbou. Ak by sme sa pozreli na jej kari\u00e9ru zhora, uvid\u00edme mozaiku projektov, ktor\u00e9 s\u00edce vznikali postupne, ale spolu vytv\u00e1raj\u00fa ve\u013emi konzistentn\u00fd pr\u00edbeh. Jednou z najv\u00fdraznej\u0161\u00edch l\u00edni\u00ed posledn\u00fdch rokov je jej spolupr\u00e1ca s&nbsp;<strong>Barbarou Kowalczukovou<\/strong>. Vznik&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/t_a_b_studio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TaB Studia<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;nebol jednorazov\u00fdm rozhodnut\u00edm, ale sk\u00f4r prirodzen\u00fdm vy\u00fasten\u00edm vz\u0165ahu, ktor\u00fd sa roky pomaly formoval. Ter\u00e9zia a Barbara Kowalczukov\u00e1 sa poznali u\u017e zo \u0161koly, no vtedy to bolo e\u0161te len \u201eob\u010dasn\u00e9 prekr\u00ed\u017eenie ciest\u201c. Barbara chodila pom\u00e1ha\u0165 do Typogar\u00e1\u017ee, ma\u013eovala podlahu, pom\u00e1hala pripravova\u0165 priestor \u2013 mal\u00e9 momenty, ktor\u00e9 vtedy p\u00f4sobili ako priate\u013esk\u00e1 v\u00fdpomoc, no v skuto\u010dnosti vznikalo nie\u010do ove\u013ea pevnej\u0161ie: d\u00f4vera, ktor\u00e1 je v grafickom dizajne vz\u00e1cna. Skuto\u010dn\u00fdm impulzom bola&nbsp;<strong>N\u00e1rodn\u00e1 cena za dizajn<\/strong>. Barbara jedn\u00e9ho d\u0148a nap\u00edsala Ter\u00e9zii spr\u00e1vu, ktor\u00e1 sa dnes m\u00f4\u017ee javi\u0165 ako osudov\u00e1:&nbsp;<em>\u201ePo\u010f, ideme robi\u0165 s\u00fa\u0165a\u017e na N\u00e1rodn\u00fa cenu za dizajn.\u201c&nbsp;<\/em>Ter\u00e9zia bola v tom \u010dase na materskej a sama prizn\u00e1va, \u017ee sk\u013abenie pr\u00e1ce a rodi\u010dovstva je n\u00e1ro\u010dn\u00e1 discipl\u00edna. No v\u010faka flexibilite doma, podpore man\u017eela a bl\u00edzkych to sk\u00fasili. A v\u00fdsledok? Identitu&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/scd.sk\/ncd\/narodna-cena-za-dizajn-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NCD<\/a>&nbsp;nielen\u017ee navrhli, ale rovno ju aj vyhrali. O rok nesk\u00f4r ju robili znova. Spolupr\u00e1ca s in\u00fdmi dizajn\u00e9rmi nie je samozrejmos\u0165 \u2013 sk\u00fa\u0161ala to viackr\u00e1t, ale nie v\u017edy to fungovalo. S Barbarou to bolo in\u00e9.&nbsp;<em>\u201eJe to a\u017e privilegium stretn\u00fa\u0165 niekoho, s k\u00fdm sa ti dobre spolupracuje,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;hovor\u00ed. A mysl\u00ed t\u00fdm nielen \u013eudsk\u00fd s\u00falad, ale aj profesion\u00e1lnu ch\u00e9miu: zdie\u013ean\u00fd vizu\u00e1lny cit, podobn\u00e9 uva\u017eovanie, spolo\u010dn\u00fd vkus, a najm\u00e4 \u2013 schopnos\u0165 pos\u00fava\u0165 jedna druh\u00fa bez s\u00fabojov eg. Ke\u010f jedna nie je spokojn\u00e1, druh\u00e1 to neberie ako kritiku, ale ako sign\u00e1l, \u017ee m\u00f4\u017eu \u00eds\u0165 e\u0161te \u010falej. Pr\u00e1ve t\u00e1to dynamika stoj\u00ed za t\u00fdm, \u017ee spolo\u010dn\u00e9 projekty p\u00f4sobia tak prepracovane. V TaB Studiu neexistuje \u201eumel\u00fd kompromis\u201c. Sk\u00f4r ide o jemn\u00e9 dola\u010fovanie, vrstvenie, testovanie, a\u017e k\u00fdm vec \u201enezaklapne\u201c. Je to proces, ktor\u00fd je n\u00e1ro\u010dn\u00fd, ale v\u00fdsledok stoj\u00ed za to \u2013 sta\u010d\u00ed sa pozrie\u0165 na ich knihy, katal\u00f3gy \u010di vizu\u00e1lne identity. Okrem Sob\u00e1\u0161nych sien\u00ed spolu vytvorili napr\u00edklad vizu\u00e1lne identitn\u00e9 syst\u00e9my pre M\u00fazeum mesta Bratislavy \u010di katal\u00f3g k v\u00fdstave Rodinn\u00e9 skuto\u010dnosti. Ka\u017ed\u00fd projekt pritom p\u00f4sob\u00ed inak \u2013 nie je to \u0161t\u00fadio, ktor\u00e9 vytv\u00e1ra svoj \u201e\u0161t\u00fdl\u201c, ktor\u00fd potom aplikuje na v\u0161etk\u00fdch klientov. Pr\u00e1ve naopak: \u0161t\u00fdl vznik\u00e1 nanovo pod\u013ea t\u00e9my, re\u0161er\u0161u, obsahu, kontextu. Jedin\u00e9, \u010do ost\u00e1va konzistentn\u00e9, je ich cit pre typografiu, detail a prepojenie vizu\u00e1lu s pr\u00edbehom. Zauj\u00edmav\u00e9 je aj to, \u017ee TaB Studio nie je postaven\u00e9 na biznisovej amb\u00edcii by\u0165 ve\u013ek\u00e9, hlasn\u00e9 \u010di hyperproduk\u010dn\u00e9. Je to sk\u00f4r ve\u013emi premyslen\u00e1, int\u00edmna dvojica, ktor\u00e1 si starostlivo vyber\u00e1 projekty, v ktor\u00fdch vie urobi\u0165 svoju najlep\u0161iu pr\u00e1cu. Tie, na ktor\u00e9 sta\u010d\u00ed jeden dizajn\u00e9r, rie\u0161ia ka\u017ed\u00e1 sama. Tie, ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa komplexnej\u0161ie, robia spolu \u2013 a pr\u00e1ve tie najviac rezonuj\u00fa. Aj preto p\u00f4sob\u00ed TaB Studio ako prirodzen\u00e9 pokra\u010dovanie toho, \u010do obe budovali u\u017e dlh\u0161ie: citlivos\u0165 ku knihe, re\u0161er\u0161u, materi\u00e1lu a p\u00edsmen\u00e1m, ale aj zodpovednos\u0165 vo\u010di t\u00e9me a komunite. V ich projektoch nie je len estetika \u2013 je v nich aj vz\u0165ah. A to je t\u00e1 najd\u00f4le\u017eitej\u0161ia vec, ktor\u00e1 ich odli\u0161uje od in\u00fdch \u0161t\u00fadi\u00ed. Jej projekty sa pohybuj\u00fa medzi knihou, editori\u00e1lom, vizu\u00e1lnou identitou a komunitn\u00fdm priestorom \u2014 no v\u0161etky sp\u00e1ja rovnak\u00e1 citlivos\u0165 k typografii a presn\u00e9mu konceptu. K tomu v\u0161etk\u00e9mu patr\u00ed aj vizu\u00e1l&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/scd.sk\/dielo-ncd\/impermanence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Impermanence<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 identita \u0161tudentskej v\u00fdstavy venovanej t\u00e9me nest\u00e1losti, v ktorej Ter\u00e9zia vyu\u017eila meniacu sa, \u201erozpad\u00e1vaj\u00facu\u201c typografiu. A napokon jej skor\u0161\u00ed projekt&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/scd.sk\/dielo-ncd\/fight-fligt-freeze\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fight Flight Freeze<\/a><\/strong>, ktor\u00fd vznikol e\u0161te po\u010das \u0161t\u00fadii a ukazuje, \u017ee u\u017e od za\u010diatku ju zauj\u00edmali aj osobn\u00e9 t\u00e9my, introspekcia a psychol\u00f3gia tvorby. Je to typ dizajn\u00e9rky, ktor\u00e1 nehovor\u00ed o \u201ekari\u00e9re\u201c ani o \u201ezna\u010dke\u201c \u2013 sk\u00f4r o procesoch, komunit\u00e1ch a o tom, \u017ee jej pr\u00e1ce musia d\u00e1va\u0165 zmysel. Mo\u017eno aj preto dnes stoj\u00ed na zauj\u00edmavom mieste: za sebou m\u00e1 \u0161es\u0165 rokov Typogar\u00e1\u017ee, desiatky kn\u00edh, vizu\u00e1lnych ident\u00edt, spolupr\u00e1c s m\u00fazeami, festivalmi aj vydavate\u013estvami, no ve\u013emi prirodzene hovor\u00ed o tom, \u017ee v\u0161etko sa mus\u00ed meni\u0165, r\u00e1s\u0165 a preskupova\u0165. Koncom Typogar\u00e1\u017ee sa neuzavrela jedna kapitola, ale sk\u00f4r sa otvorila nov\u00e1. Po zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00ed n\u00e1jmu, rokoch dobrovo\u013enej pr\u00e1ce a zmene prior\u00edt za\u010dala nec\u00edti\u0165 potrebu dr\u017ea\u0165 priestor za ka\u017ed\u00fa cenu.&nbsp;<em>\u201eU\u017e som bola tak\u00e1, \u017ee dobre, spravili sme toho dos\u0165, po\u010fme nie\u010do nov\u00e9 vymyslie\u0165,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;hovor\u00ed. Projekt, ktor\u00fd vyr\u00e1stol z jedn\u00e9ho semestr\u00e1lneho n\u00e1padu, napokon naplnil svoju \u00falohu: prepojil \u013eud\u00ed, priniesol zahrani\u010dn\u00fdch host\u00ed, vytvoril energiu, ktor\u00fa slovensk\u00e1 grafick\u00e1 sc\u00e9na dlho nemala. A t\u00e1 energia nezmizla. Naopak, transformovala sa. U\u017e dnes pracuje Ter\u00e9zia spolu s \u010fal\u0161\u00edmi na novej koncepcii: prehliadke a konferencii s\u00fa\u010dasn\u00e9ho grafick\u00e9ho dizajnu, ktor\u00fa op\u00edsala ako v\u00e4\u010d\u0161\u00ed, jednorazov\u00fd form\u00e1t \u2013 nie gar\u00e1\u017e, ale udalos\u0165, ktor\u00e1 m\u00f4\u017ee oslovi\u0165 \u0161ir\u0161ie publikum aj dizajn\u00e9rsku komunitu naprie\u010d gener\u00e1ciami.&nbsp;<em>\u201e\u0160tudenti a \u013eudia okolo Typolabu st\u00e1le hovorili, \u017ee n\u00e1m tu ch\u00fdba dobr\u00e1 prehliadka grafick\u00e9ho dizajnu. Tak na tom rob\u00edme,\u201c<\/em>&nbsp;vysvet\u013euje. Projekt pl\u00e1nuj\u00fa spusti\u0165 u\u017e bud\u00faci rok \u2013 a celkom prirodzene to p\u00f4sob\u00ed ako pokra\u010dovanie p\u00f4vodn\u00e9ho ducha Typogar\u00e1\u017ee, len v novom tele. Popri tom v\u0161etkom je tu aj ka\u017edodenn\u00e1 pr\u00e1ca \u2013 a t\u00e1 je pre Ter\u00e9ziu st\u00e1le pevne zakotven\u00e1 v typografii, knih\u00e1ch a editori\u00e1loch. Po prest\u00e1vke sp\u00f4sobenej materstvom sa vr\u00e1tila k magaz\u00ednu Backstage Talks, ktor\u00fd formuje ve\u013ek\u00fa \u010das\u0165 jej kreat\u00edvnej identity. Miluje editori\u00e1ly pre ich rytmus, pr\u00e1cu s obsahom, ich \u201earchitekt\u00faru\u201c. Ke\u010f hovor\u00ed o novom vydan\u00ed, v jej hlase c\u00edti\u0165 nad\u0161enie. Hoci o tom hovor\u00ed stru\u010dne, je zrejm\u00e9, \u017ee pr\u00e1ve toto obdobie pre \u0148u otvorilo nov\u00fd sp\u00f4sob uva\u017eovania o pr\u00e1ci. Ke\u010f m\u00e1 die\u0165a tri roky, \u201e\u0161ufl\u00edkov\u00e9\u201c projekty jednoducho neexistuj\u00fa. \u010clovek rie\u0161i len to, na \u010do m\u00e1 skuto\u010dn\u00fa kapacitu \u2013 a v pr\u00edpade Ter\u00e9zie to znamenalo d\u00e1va\u0165 prednos\u0165 projektom, ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa kvalitn\u00e9, premyslen\u00e9 a maj\u00fa v\u00fdznam. Z\u00e1rove\u0148 prizn\u00e1va, \u017ee teraz, ke\u010f syn chod\u00ed do \u0161k\u00f4lky, za\u010d\u00edna ma\u0165 op\u00e4\u0165 priestor na rozbehnutie v\u00e4\u010d\u0161\u00edch vec\u00ed \u2013 a pr\u00e1ve preto sa mohla naplno pusti\u0165 do novej konferencie aj do Backstage Talks. Tento posun je vidite\u013en\u00fd: po rokoch balansovania medzi rodi\u010dovstvom a pr\u00e1cou prich\u00e1dza etapa, ke\u010f sa m\u00f4\u017ee viac koncentrova\u0165 a projektom da\u0165 v\u00e4\u010d\u0161\u00ed rozsah. Zauj\u00edmav\u00e9 je, \u017ee pri v\u0161etk\u00fdch mo\u017enostiach, ktor\u00e9 by dnes dizajn\u00e9r mohol sledova\u0165 \u2013 internacionaliz\u00e1cia, ve\u013ek\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadi\u00e1, amb\u00edcia r\u00e1s\u0165 \u2013 Ter\u00e9zia ost\u00e1va vern\u00e1 tomu, \u010do d\u00e1va najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161\u00ed zmysel jej samotnej: kvalitn\u00fd dizajn, dobr\u00e9 vz\u0165ahy, komunitu a citliv\u00fa typografiu. Nie je to kari\u00e9ra postaven\u00e1 na budovan\u00ed mena, ale na budovan\u00ed pr\u00e1ce. Nie na vizu\u00e1lnom exhibicionizme, ale na prec\u00edznosti. Sk\u00f4r obraz \u010dloveka, ktor\u00fd si ju postupne vyskladal zo sk\u00fasenost\u00ed, omylov, objavov, dobr\u00fdch \u013eud\u00ed a spr\u00e1vnych momentov. Z pokreslen\u00fdch kni\u017eiek v detskej kni\u017enici cez viedensk\u00e9 predn\u00e1\u0161ky, ktor\u00e9 ju nau\u010dili, \u010do nechce, a\u017e po slobodu v Typolabe, kde sa jej myslenie o grafickom dizajne otvorilo. Typogar\u00e1\u017e uk\u00e1zala, \u017ee Ter\u00e9zia vie vytvori\u0165 priestor \u2013 nielen fyzick\u00fd, ale aj ment\u00e1lny \u2013 kde sa dizajn m\u00f4\u017ee sta\u0165 spolo\u010dn\u00fdm z\u00e1\u017eitkom. Kni\u017en\u00e9 dizajny a editori\u00e1ly uk\u00e1zali, \u017ee m\u00e1 rukopis postaven\u00fd na jemnosti, re\u0161pekte a presnosti. A spolupr\u00e1ca v TaB Studiu zas to, \u017ee ke\u010f sa stretn\u00fa dvaja \u013eudia s podobn\u00fdm citom, vznikne nie\u010do v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ie ne\u017e s\u00fa\u010det jednotlivcov. V\u0161etko, \u010do rob\u00ed, je prepojen\u00e9: typografia, komunita, v\u00fdskum, d\u00f4raz na detaily, citlivos\u0165 a prirodzen\u00e9 tempo. Jej pr\u00e1ca m\u00e1 v sebe pokoj aj odvahu, presnos\u0165 aj nehu. A hoci jej projekty vznikaj\u00fa v r\u00f4znych kontextoch, v\u0161etky nes\u00fa rovnak\u00fd podpis \u2013 premyslenos\u0165, trpezlivos\u0165 a hlbok\u00e9 porozumenie tomu, \u010do rob\u00ed dobr\u00fd dizajn dobr\u00fdm. A tak sa zd\u00e1, \u017ee nech u\u017e bude jej bud\u00facnos\u0165 vyzera\u0165 akoko\u013evek \u2013 nov\u00e1 konferencia, nov\u00e9 knihy, \u010fal\u0161ie editori\u00e1ly \u2013 bude v\u017edy st\u00e1\u0165 na pevn\u00fdch z\u00e1kladoch, ktor\u00e9 si vytvorila sama: na typografii, komunite a schopnosti vytv\u00e1ra\u0165 veci, ktor\u00e9 vydr\u017eia. Dizajn Ter\u00e9zie Denkovej toti\u017e nie je o trendoch, ale o vz\u0165ahoch.
